It’s certainly been HOT! lately, and history tells us it isn’t over yet. The heat and humidity are certainly working cooling systems to the max, and many are not able to cope with all the stress. The number of service calls when it is this hot is incredible. We have 4 fully-stocked service vans- 3 full time and Mike trying to take up the slack in the 4th. The stress on equipment, when it’s working this hard is tremendous. The reasons for these stress breakdowns is that when parts of the equipment are teetering at a point of nearly failing, the extra work many times just pushes it over the edge.
While all breakdowns certainly can’t be avoided, what is the best way to prevent them?
There are three answers to that question, and those answers are, “Maintenance, maintenance, and maintenance.” You can’t avoid ALL breakdowns, but with the preventative maintenance provided by the “Quality Service Maintenance Program” you’ll stand a far better chance of avoiding that horrible, hot situation. We all know how horrible it is to come home and find that the air has been off. It seems to happen at the worst of times, like returning late at night after vacation, or just hours before that big summer party. In our program, for one low price, we visit twice a year to perform a complete check-up. Once we check the cooling operation and once we check the heating. We can catch those parts before they go bad, and the regular service keeps your equipment running at its best and most efficient. Changing your filters, of course, is a very important part of the maintenance of your equipment.

Today, we’ll answer questions about financing!
Does Quality Service, Inc. finance home comfort systems and installations? We do not finance them ourselves. We pay for our equipment and materials when we buy them, and we have to pay our labor and other overhead costs immediately. We simply couldn’t afford to try provide the financing ourselves.
Do you have financing available? Absolutely!
We have several sources and ways to provide financing for our installations.
What are those financing options?
The most often used is the TVA Heat Pump Program.
Ripley Power and Light has a mirror program of their own. They will provide financing for installations that use HEAT PUMPS only. Except in the case of RP&L, which uses its own funds, your local power company will administer the loan for TVA. The programs hold certain requirements as for ductwork, insulation, weather-stripping and more, but will provide money in the loan to make the home meet the requirements. Once it’s installed, they do an inspection. They approve and pay us. They then add the cost of the note payment onto your electric bill each month. A bonus…many times, after the installation of a much more efficient heat pump system, the utility bill even goes down with the note added on. Call us for more information.
Another option is programs through our manufacturers.
